Community Renovation : PLAID collaborated with Sundance Bay (Salt Lake City) and three Kansas City-based architects (el dorado, Gould Evans, and DRAW) on the renovation of three 60s-era multi-family residential communities that had declined in condition and appeal. Site improvements included new outdoor gathering spaces, enhanced clubhouse facilities (pool decks, shade structures, fire pits, and outdoor cooking), interpretive playgrounds, and expanded walkway and trail systems. These improvements complement the unique contemporary motif of the renovated buildings, and helped transform these developments into viable and attractive living options.
