In conjunction with Eco Abet, PLAID volunteered time and expertise to help envision inspired improvements for one of Kansas City’s many important parks. The Lykins neighborhood is tucked into northeast Kansas City and has seen a surge of interest and pride from neighbors, activists, developers, and small businesses. The Lykins Square park is an important node for this reemerging community and we are happy to be involved. Below are a few sketches and concepts we developed as part of a day-long workshop:
